I begin many of my days on the beach. It clears my mind and connects me with the universe. I love it. Sometimes I go for a swim, sometimes I just sit and watch the waves, other times I paint. I often see crows walking on the beach looking for food. Some look very unhealthy, thin and weak like they have eaten too much plastic on the beach. Some look strong and vital. Today I saw something interesting. I saw a lesbian muslim couple. It made me think about societal programming and that it must be hard being lesbian in an extremely traditional society. Not fun! They were wearing headdresses and were covered up like most traditional muslim women are. Does that mean that they are married? To men? To each other? I have no idea. It must be very complicated. But they looked happy, they were holding hands and talking intimately. It was amazing to see. It made me think that anything is possible. People like that are changing the world, they are revolutionaries in their societies. They are shifting the collective consciousness.
